"So I spent 16 hours of what was originally slated to be a 10 hour recording/reamping session with a good friend of mine who's recording his solo contemporary classical guitar album at Ampersound Studio yesterday. And as per a previous post, our Engineer Braden Kwasnicia really exceeded our expectations.

 

As previously mentioned Braden is the strongest Engineer I've ever worked with, highly impressed with his skill and expertise level. As my friend mentioned, the vibe was really cool and warm (somehow simultaneously), and Braden "got" the music he was recording. This is coming from a musician who's attained his Master's Degree in Classical Music.

 

The thing that most impressed me was that he'd point out a mistake and instead of trying to cover it up, he'd immediately endeavor to correct it. No ego, only skill, and patience which made everything so much easier. And we had a lot fun. He's running a great studio over at Ampersound, so if you get the chance, intern or record there. My friend and I personally recommend it and Mr. Kwasnicia's services."

My band and I had the pleasure of working with Braden from Ampersound Productions to get a master done up for a recorded single. We wanted someone who was qualified, professional, quick, inexpensive, and easy to get in contact with. Braden sure delivered!

 

We were looking to have a master completed within about a week, and Braden said he could have it done within just a couple of days! I thought this was very cool and had good feelings about where this was going. 

 

Braden also gave the suggestion to make an adjustment in the mix, to better the sound of the master. I super appreciate that honesty, as it did wonders to the final product.

 

Mastering aside, Braden is a swell dude, hella friendly, and a breeze to get in contact with. Overall, this experience was sweet, quick, and efficient.

 

The final master sounds brilliant and we could not be happier. Thank you Braden for your time and hard work! We look forward to working with you in the future.
